STOOR Live in Paradiso - ADE 2021

In the past period, Speedy J has been hiding in a Rotterdam bunker full of electronic equipment. This gave birth to STOOR, a project that focuses on recording and documenting live sessions with various artists. The best moments are captured on limited vinyl releases, but completely improvised sessions are also streamed live. During ADE, Speedy J brings his concept to the stage; STOOR live will be a jam between changing musicians and video artists.

Especially for STOOR live, Karl Klomp has created a stage and video design that blurs the boundary between audience and artist. By means of robot cameras and video hardware hacks on an LED video object, image and sound become a symbiosis of unbridled electronics.

Before the session starts, no one knows exactly what is going to happen, but that a stage full of analogue equipment in combination with experienced hands will result in a magical audiovisual trip, is certain.
